As for me, I had a taste for French toast this morning so whipped up a slice of my 5-minute lo-cal recipe.
Low Fat French Toast Recipe
Here you go:
Grab a slice of Challah bread or Brioche. Crack one whole medium sized raw egg into a bowl big enough to hold your slice of bread. Whip up the egg with a wisp or spoon till it fluffs a bit. Drop in your bread and let the egg soak in. Flip it over and soak up the other side. Then take a non-stick frying pan and plop in your egg soaked bread over medium heat. In a minute or so flip it over and in one more minute slide your toast onto a plate. Top off with a teaspoon or two of Vermont Maple Syrup. (My personal favorite is available online at www.morsefarm.com). I don’t have any stock in the company I just love the purity and the taste)
Now you’ve got a SPECTACULAR 225-Calorie piece of French toast, no glob, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients. Yummy!
